Returns and Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping at Essie & Betsy's. This policy applies to all garments ordered through our online boutique and complies with the UK's Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

You have a statutory right to cancel your order and return items within 14 days of receipt, without providing a reason. This cooling-off period begins on the day you—or a recipient designated by you—take physical possession of the package.

2. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a full refund, the following conditions must be met:

Garments must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in a resalable condition.

All original tags, labels, and packaging must remain intact and attached.

Garments must be free from perfume scents, cosmetic stains, or any other odors.

For hygiene reasons, swimwear and lingerie cannot be returned.

We reserve the right to inspect all returned items. If a garment shows signs of wear or has been damaged, we may refuse the return or offer only a partial refund.

3. How to Initiate a Return

Please email us at info@essiebetsyse.com to notify us of your return request, including your order number and the items you wish to return. We will provide you with return instructions and the return address.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

4. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a garment that is defective, damaged, or does not match your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt and include clear photographs. We will arrange for a free return and, depending on the circumstances, provide a full refund or send a replacement.

5. Refund Processing

Once we have received and inspected your returned items, we will process your refund within 5 days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method; please allow approximately 10 business days for the funds to appear. Note that your bank or card issuer may require additional time to process the credit.

6. Exchanges

We offer size exchanges, subject to product availability. Please specify your request for a size exchange in your return email. You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the item(s), while we will cover the shipping costs for sending the replacement item(s) to you.
